Jason Bonde is in his fifth year as the Head Women's Basketball coach at Rochester Community and Technical College and 20th year as a college coach. In 2023 his third year with the women's basketball program, Coach Bonde guided the team to a National Championship. His team was ranked #1 nationally for 9 weeks and finished with a 27-1 record. This team produced 4 All-Division players, 2 first-team All-MCAC players, an all-defensive team member, 2 All-Americans including a  3x All-American selection (2021 D2 3rd Team All-American and 2022 D3 1st team All-American, 2023 2nd team all- American) Olivia Christianson. Bonde was named 2021, 2022, 2023 Southern Division Coach of the Year, Region 13 and District Coach of the Year and the 2023 NJCAA National Coach of the Year.  Coach Bonde has a record of 67-8 in his three years at RCTC.

 

Prior to taking over the women's basketball coach position at RCTC, Bonde was the assistant coach for the very successful men's basketball program at RCTC under head coach Brian LaPlante. Bonde has been apart of almost 300 wins with Coach LaPlante, who has over 500 total wins at RCTC.

Coach Bonde resides in Lake City, MN with his wife Sara and 3 daughters Faith, Nora, and Alexandra (Alex).
